Léttleiki is located at beautiful Swallowland Farm in the rolling hills of Shelby County, in the heart of Kentucky’s Bluegrass horse country. Léttleiki Icelandics is an education center for the Icelandic Horse offering a variety of training, teaching, sales, boarding, and breeding services. Carrie Lyons Brandt is the head trainer and teacher at Léttleiki Icelandics. Carrie has completed all three years at Holar University in Iceland. She is a certified FT teacher and Icelandic horse trainer B with a B.S. in Equestrian Studies and Riding Instruction (Reiðmennsku og Reiðkennslu). Léttleiki is the Icelandic word for “lightness” one their primary training goals.
