We are delighted to partner with Redux Pictures, who will be representing the Herd In Iceland photographs.  A gallery of images was added to their syndication archive, and it feels great to have all the photos in one place.  We are huge fans of Redux and have drawn much inspiration from the amazing photographers they represent.  We are thrilled to have the support of such a fine agency.

Production has ended on Herd, and we’re steadily prepping the footage for our editor.   Here are a few frames from the final roundup of the season.  We will be adding 4×5 and still images over the next few days, so keep checking in as we post photos to the portfolio.  We’ve replaced our horses with yellow cabs, our roundups with subway turnstiles, and majestic mountains with a concrete skyline, but we are happy to be home in NYC.

Herding

September 23rd, 2011

After a few days in the south, we’ve returned to our base outside of Blönduós.  The two regions are very different, but the people are equally dedicated to their work with the herds.  We filmed the animals and herders as they traveled across the moonscape, and met up with a group that had been out collecting sheep for six days.
